We are really charged up about this new trip. On the power-assisted bikes we’ll be able to show you an impressive slice of what’s under the hood here in BC’s famous Sea to Sky region. It’s a jam-packed schedule as we begin in Squamish and sample some of the best from its dizzying array of nearly 500 trails — you’ll quickly see why Squamish has achieved cult-like status among riders. Next up is our hometown of Whistler where we’ll carve out a loop starting near the village, darting over to the West Side and then down to Creekside and Cheakamus. Shall we hit a lake this afternoon? Then, just 20 minutes north lies Pemberton and it’s drier and faster trails with its eclectic community of cowboys, farmers, First Nations and sporty outdoorsy folks; and its mega singletrack climb that’s nearly 8 miles/13 km, 3382 ft./1050m of up, up, up.
*Land cost includes price of high-performance eMTB rental.

ACTIVITY LEVEL
The minimum technical ability required for Canada is Intermediate+ (sometimes just Intermediate). This trip is suitable if you have been riding for three-four years and are confident on most types of singletrack and conditions. This trip is a Level 3/6 for fitness, riders can always choose to ride longer on any day. The accumulation of multiple long days of riding will add up, as it is on all of our trips the fitter you are, the more fun you’ll have.
THE RIDING
Expect purpose-built singletrack in forests with the gamut of features such as roots, rocks, steeps, berms, small bridges and rock slab sections. Surfaces can be compact dirt that can be soft or muddy in wet weather, and some dry and loose sections. There are graduated trails from intermediate to expert and riders can extend rides on all days.
LODGING & CUISINE
On this trip we'll spend two nights at a Squamish hotel and four nights in a three-star hotel in the heart of Whistler Village. Please notify us if you have any special dietary needs.
CLIMATE
We will be visiting several distinctly different climactic zones: from rainforest to high mountains. In big mountains, weather can change quickly and drastically, it could be 30 degrees celcius one day and then nearly freezing on a mountain top the next day. This region can also receive considerable rain, be prepared. Generally though, the weather during the summer is hot and sunny.
YOUR SAFETY
Our trips take place in remote regions with limited evacuation options available. Our guides have basic first aid training, if a serious injury is suspected they will call helicopter search and rescue at the cost of the participant. Personal medical travel insurance is mandatory for all riders. If you choose to participate in our trips it is up to you to ride well within your limits, to ride conservatively, to walk sections if needed and to be safe as mountain biking is a dangerous sport. There are always risks and hazards on all trails that we ride. It is your responsibility to inspect your bike or rental bike daily and keep it in excellent condition. Helmets are mandatory and alcohol and drugs are not permitted while riding your bike.
THE NEXT STEPS
Please read and understand our Terms and Conditions and our Waiver. Then, email or call us to make sure that your desired departure is confirmed and there’s still space available. We’ll then send you a short Rider Questionnaire to learn about your riding experience and ensure that you are suitable for the trip. The last step is to complete our secure online Registration Form and pay your 25% deposit, and we’ll send you detailed Trip Preparation Guide that includes steps on preparing for your adventure.
A Travel Protection Plan protects your travel investment, your belongings, and most importantly, you.
