This eMTB adventure around Mont Blanc, Europe’s highest peak, offers a unique opportunity to explore the diverse landscapes and cultures of Switzerland’s Valais, Italy’s Aosta Valley, and France’s Haute Savoie. With stops in iconic mountain towns like Courmayeur and Chamonix, the journey is fully rideable, featuring a mix of singletrack, doubletrack, gravel, and asphalt. Accommodations are in private rooms at small hotels, with luggage transfers and van support for a seamless experience. Highlights include crossing the Col du Grand Ferret and Col de la Seigne, savouring local wines, cheeses, and Italian cuisine, and mastering challenging climbs—all while taking in the breathtaking Alpine scenery. Trip Itinerary

This eMTB adventure around Mont Blanc, Europe’s highest peak, offers a unique opportunity to explore the diverse landscapes and cultures of Switzerland’s Valais, Italy’s Aosta Valley, and France’s Haute Savoie.

Day 1

Welcome to Geneva. Transfer to near Verbier.

Upon arrival take the train from the Geneva Airport to the small town of Le Chable on the train where we pick you up.

Day 2

Ride Lourtier to La Fouly, Switzerland.

Set out from the hotel for an exceptional day of riding, beginning with a lift in Brusson that brings us up to the Col de Mille. Here, we’ll enjoy lunch at a charming cabane at 2,473 meters, with breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc Massif as our backdrop. From there, we’ll descend through stunning terrain and continue onward to the picturesque mountain hamlet of La Fouly.

Day 3

Ride La Fouly to Courmayeur, Italy

Today’s journey takes us into Italy’s Aosta Valley via the stunning Col Ferret pass, with a high point of 2531m. The descent on the Italian side into Val Ferret is breathtaking, with views of the towering Grandes Jorasses and an unforgettable ride down to the charming town of Courmayeur.

Day 4

Option ride Courmayeur, visit the Pre Saint Didier Spa.

This morning we have an optional morning ride planned, or you can sleep in and let the morning unfold as you wish. After lunch we’ll swap knee pads for a terry cloth robe and visit the Pre Saint Didier spa for an afternoon of soaking and relaxing under the mighty Mont Blanc.

Day 5

Ride Courmayeur to Le Chapieux, France

Today marks our most challenging climbing day as we ascend to the windswept Col de La Seigne at the French border, at a high point of 2505m. From this high vantage point, we descend to the quaint village of Les Chapieu.

Day 6

Ride Les Chassieux to Les Contamines-Montjoies

Today we tackle a big climb over the Comet de Roseland, navigating the eastern slopes of the Mont Blanc Massif. The route takes us across endless high alpine meadows, offering expansive views. After crossing the Col de Joly, we encounter more chalets and villages on the descent, finally arriving at the mountain town of Les Contamines.

Day 7

Ride Les Contamines-Montjoies to Chamonix. Explore Chamonix.

We begin this half-day ride with a challenging climb, rewarded by a descent into Les Houches bike park, offering stunning views of the inviting Chamonix Valley. After checking into our hotel, we’ll enjoy lunch together, with the afternoon free for you to explore at your leisure.

Day 8

Ride Chamonix to Martigny, Switzerland. Transfer to Geneva Airport. Au revoir!

Board the train in Zermatt for a 3-hour 45-minute journey back to Geneva Airport.

Our guide was excellent. He adjusted the trails to suit our ability. The food and hotels were also excellent Of course the views were stunning every day.
