Trip Details

Mountain biking in Peru is a bucket-list adventure, combining challenging rides with rich cultural experiences, breathtaking historical sites, and exceptional hospitality. Your journey begins in Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire, where Spanish colonial architecture and the impressive Plaza de Armas set the stage for your adventure. From there, you’ll explore the El Valle Sagrado (The Sacred Valley) over six days of riding on ancient Inca-built singletrack. These trails wind through remote traditional weaving villages, towering mountains, and lesser-known Inca ruins, such as the Huchuy Qosqo temple and the Moray archaeological site, offering a unique glimpse into Peru’s storied past. The shuttle-assisted rides feature exciting descents interspersed with short but challenging climbs at altitude, technical sections, and fast-paced stretches that make Peru’s mountain biking world-renowned. To top it all off, we’ve included a once-in-a-lifetime visit to Machu Picchu, accessed by a scenic train and followed by a privately guided tour of this iconic site.
